
George D. Adames, Esq.
George D. Adames is the Deputy General Counsel at New York City’s Commission on Human Rights. He previously served as one of Staten Island’s first openly gay prosecutors, and as the Richmond County District Attorney’s Office’s inaugural LGBT Community Liaison. He sits on the Executive Team of LeGaL’s Judiciary Committee, serves on the Board of Directors of the Puerto Rican Bar Association and is the inaugural Chair of its LGBT Committee, and is Counsel to Staten Island’s Alice Austen House. George earned his undergraduate degree from CUNY’s College of Staten Island, and his law degree from CUNY School of Law.
