The LGBT Bar Association of Greater New York (LeGaL) is inviting candidates for Civil Court, Supreme Court and Surrogate's Court judgeships to be interviewed and evaluated by its Judiciary Committee. To ensure all eligible candidates have the opportunity to be rated before the 2026 General Election, the Committee is requesting applications from those not yet contacted.

Candidates are evaluated for their judicial capability, integrity, and dedication to LGBTQ+ equality, receiving designations ranging from "Highly Approved" to "Not Approved" or "Failed to Appear."
