LGBT Bar NY joined a friend-of-the-court brief urging the Supreme Court to affirm that laws targeting transgender people are unlawful sex discrimination.

The LGBT Bar Association of Greater New York congratulates the Honorable Adam Silvera on his appointment as Deputy Chief Administrative Judge for the New York City Courts. As Deputy Chief Administrative Judge, he will continue to promote fairness and accessibility in the judicial system for all New Yorkers by overseeing the administration of New York City’s extensive trial courts.

We are proud to be a host site for the NYS Attorney Emeritus Program and support its mission to enhance the capacity of legal service providers in New York State to provide quality legal representation to low-income New Yorkers.
