The LGBT Bar Association of New York (LeGaL) is among the nation’s first bar associations serving the LGBTQ+ legal community and remains one of the largest and most active organizations of its kind in the United States.
LGBT Bar NY provides its members with meaningful opportunities to develop leadership skills, build professional community, and expand their legal networks. As an accredited Continuing Legal Education (CLE) provider, the Association offers programs throughout the year on LGBTQ+-specific issues as well as broader substantive and practice-oriented topics designed to support attorneys at every stage of their careers.
