LeGaL’s Youth Mentorship Program
For LGBTQI+ high school and college students interested in the legal field
Time & Location
Apr 21, 2022, 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
About The Event
On April 21, 2022, LeGaL will hold its very first Youth Mentorship event for LGBTQI+ high school and college students interested in learning more about the legal field. Queer law students and lawyers will provide unique insights and guidance on attending law school and becoming a lawyer. This event is open to all. We encourage anyone interested in this opportunity to RSVP.
LeGaL’s Youth Mentorship Program offers LGBTQI+ high school and college students an opportunity to engage with the legal field. This is an invaluable chance to learn from Queer law students and lawyers about their unique position as advocates who help individuals, groups, and organizations in furthering the public good. Becoming a lawyer can open doors to new opportunities and serve as a stepping stone to other careers if you do not decide to continue practicing law. The skills you'll develop in law school and as a practicing attorney can also serve you well in careers like legal consulting, management, writing, mediation, and academia.

**Along with spreading the word about this event and attending, we are seeking for a few diverse panelists to briefly speak about their journeys and experiences with law school and lawyering.
