Featuring Assistant District Attorney Jaclyn Quiles and President of the Association of Legal Aid Attorneys Jared Trujillo

This CLE will discuss the issues facing the LGBTQ+ community in the criminal legal system from both the prosecutor and defense counsel perspective. It will highlight particular considerations for litigating those cases when a member of the community is either accused of a crime, or an [alleged] victim of a crime. Presenters will discuss client or victim-centered practices and considerations for plea negotiations, alternative sentencing, and trial.
